Owners describe working with Intan Niaga
These are genuine impressions from people who came in with a question and left with more clarity about what to do next.

"I came in with a tangled question about whether to expand or hold steady. I had been going back and forth on it for months. After one session, I had it in front of me as a proper list of considerations — not an answer, but a way to look at it clearly. The written note helped enormously."

"I had tried other consultants before and often felt talked at. This was different. Rashid listened more than he spoke in our first session, and by the end I had said out loud things I had not been able to articulate before. The report was short and I appreciated that. It was things I could actually use."

"I am now in my second year with the Year-Long Advisory arrangement. What I value most is that the sessions stay useful — Nurul Hana adjusts what we focus on as things change. It does not feel like a service I am consuming. It feels more like having a thinking partner who actually knows my business."

"I was nervous about whether consulting would be right for me — my business is small and the budget is limited. The Clarity Review felt like the right size. I came with a pricing question that I had been unsure about for almost a year. I left knowing what I was going to do, and why. Good value for what it is."

Bookkeeping Practice · George Town
"The Sales Approach Review helped me see how I was describing my services to potential clients, and what I might say differently. I would not have described myself as someone with a 'sales problem', but I realise now I was making it harder than necessary for people to understand what I offer. The report gave me three specific things to consider changing."

"What I did not expect was that the Year-Long Advisory would change how I think through problems between sessions, not just during them. I find myself framing things differently now. I am also clearer on what questions I actually need answered, versus what is just noise."

Case Studies
A closer look at three engagements
The following are illustrative of the kind of work we do, drawn from real situations with details adapted to protect confidentiality.
Challenge
Pricing feels stuck
A small alterations business in George Town had not changed its prices in four years. The owner knew things needed to move but felt uncertain about how much, and worried about losing regular customers.
What We Did
Clarity Review
In one session, we mapped the considerations: cost changes, competitor pricing, customer sensitivity, and what a modest adjustment would mean in practice. We presented three pricing scenarios with the trade-offs for each.
What Followed
A decision made with confidence
The owner chose the middle scenario and implemented it gradually over six weeks. She reported that having the options written out made the decision feel less like a gamble and more like a considered choice.
Challenge
Customer retention was unclear
An IT support provider in Butterworth was getting new customers but losing them after the first engagement. He had no clear picture of why, and was unsure whether it was the service, the pricing, or the way he communicated.
What We Did
Sales Approach Review
Over two sessions, we examined how he explained his services, what happened after the first engagement, and where the relationship tended to trail off. We identified three areas in the handover process that were worth looking at.
What Followed
A steadier pattern of return work
He made two of the three changes in the report. Within four months, he noticed a modest but clear increase in customers who returned for follow-up work. He enrolled in the Year-Long Advisory the following quarter.
Challenge
A period of gradual change
A bookkeeping practice in George Town was going through a slow but unsettled period — a key client had left, two new ones had come in, and the owner was unsure of the overall direction of the business.
What We Did
Year-Long Advisory
Monthly sessions helped the owner track the business as things shifted — not by imposing a plan, but by keeping a steady view of what was happening. Quarterly summaries gave her a written record of the changes and what she had decided in response.
What Followed
Greater clarity about the business shape
By month eight, she had a clearer sense of the clients she wanted to work with and those she did not. She began to turn down certain types of work, which reduced her hours without reducing income significantly. She continues the advisory arrangement.
